Sana'a: Education Ministry Undersecretary for Secondary Education Dr. Zaid al-Hudur and Head of Vocational Education in the capital Sana'a Abdullah Sharaf launched a plan on Wednesday to integrate vocational and technical education into summer school activities in the capital.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Zaid al-Hudur, alongside Abdullah Sharaf, initiated the Vocational Education and Training Sector's plan to support summer schools in Sana'a. The launch event was attended by the deans of technical and vocational institutes from various districts of the capital, where responsibilities were assigned and a field schedule for the implementation of vocational training activities was established.
The meeting underscored the role of vocational institutes in enhancing summer school programs by offering workshops and training sessions that promote career awareness. It also aimed to introduce students to the specializations available at vocational institutions and provide them with insights into job market demands.
Dr. al-Hudur highlighted the necessity of delivering quality vocational and technical activities in the summer courses. He urged a collective effort to ensure the success of these programs and to achieve their educational objectives.
Abdullah Sharaf further stressed the importance of encouraging student participation in the summer courses. He noted the benefits of these programs in developing students' skills and enhancing their capabilities in various fields.
