Bissent indicated in press statements that "we could lift sanctions on other Russian oil," according to Sputnik news agency. According to Yemen News Agency, Bissent added that "Washington will continue to periodically announce new measures aimed at calming the global oil market, as long as the military operation against Iran continues." US Energy Secretary Chris Wright also announced that Washington has allowed India to continue purchasing Russian oil to ensure the continued operation of oil refineries in South Asia, given the disruption of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. On Saturday morning, February 28, the United States and Israel launched a new aggression against Iran, in which Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a number of senior Iranian military commanders were killed, hundreds of civilians were killed, and the resources of the Iranian people were targeted. In response to the aggression, Iran announced the start of Operation "True Promise 4" against Israel and US bases in the region.
