Water, Electricity, Elections Sectors Hold Event to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday in Al-Mahwit

Al-mahwit: The Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Al-Mahwit governorate, along with the governorate's Electricity District, branches of the Rural Water and Electricity Projects Authorities, and the governorate branch of the Supreme Elections Committee, organized a speech event on Tuesday to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, Province Undersecretary Ahmed Al-Qatmah emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday provides a moment to reflect on the noble life of Prophet Muhammad and follow his teachings and guidance. He stated that celebrating this significant religious occasion illustrates the Prophet's revered position in the hearts of the people and reinforces their bond with his life, principles, and values. Al-Qatmah urged attendees to draw lessons from the Prophet's life and to promote values of compassion, solidarity, benevolence, and good morals within society.

Engineer Abdul-Ghani Al-Qatmah, Director of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, described the Prophet's birthday as both a spiritual and cultural occasion. He encouraged drawing inspiration from the Prophet's life to enhance values of diligence, dedication, and public service, and to execute responsibilities with professionalism and integrity. He stressed the importance of mirroring the Prophet's morals in interactions with citizens, especially in service sectors, to improve performance and address societal needs. He confirmed ongoing efforts to enhance services provided to citizens within available resources.

The event was attended by Director of Security and Intelligence in the governorate, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Wajeeh. Engineer Al-Qatmah highlighted various aspects of the Prophet's life and stressed the importance of adopting his character and qualities. He emphasized the need to raise future generations with a love for Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and to instill his values and noble morals in them.

The Director General of the Water Corporation explained that commemorating the Prophet's birthday renews the commitment to follow the Prophet's path and use his life as a foundation to strengthen social unity and cohesion, promoting cooperation, compassion, and solidarity among community members.
