Muscat: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects thunderstorms and scattered rain in parts of several provinces, and hot weather in deserts, plains, and coastal areas over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that thunderstorms are likely in parts of Taiz, Ibb, Rima, and Al-Mahwit provinces, while scattered rain is expected in parts of Dhamar, Sana'a, Hajjah provinces, and the Tihama plain.
Hot to extremely hot weather is expected in deserts, interior highlands, plains, and coastal areas. The center has issued warnings to citizens in areas expecting rainfall about the potential for flash floods in streams and valleys, advising against being in or crossing watercourses during and after rainfall.
