Sana'a: The districts of the Capital witnessed evening gatherings and celebratory events marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, with wide official and popular participation.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Shu'ub District, residents of neighborhoods including Al-Jiraf Al-Sharqi, Al-Shaheed Al-Jadri, Al-Safwah, Al-Takaful in Sa'wan, Omar Al-Mukhtar in Haymir, Hubrah, and northern Bir Al-Hamdi in Al-Hashishiyah organized cultural and speech events for the occasion. During the gathering in Al-Hashishiyah, the head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Capital Secretariat, Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, highlighted aspects of the Prophet's life, noting that God bestowed His favor upon the Arabs by sending the Messenger of humanity and Seal of the Prophets from among them, entrusting them with the great responsibility of carrying the divine message-an honor for the nation.
The events in Shu'ub District, attended by Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat for the Education Sector Mohammed Al-Bannous, member of the Yemeni Scholars Association scholar Hamoud Sharaf Al-Din, district mobilization officer Abdullah Al-Kawl, along with local and executive leaders, tribal figures, dignitaries, and large numbers of residents, included speeches and various activities emphasizing the greatness of the occasion and the importance of commemorating it.
In the Old City District, the Al-Qasimi neighborhood hosted a cultural evening celebrating the Prophet's birth, featuring speeches, poetic recitations, and the traditional Sanaa chant praising and expressing love for the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family. The event was attended by Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat for the Services Sector, Engineer Abdul-Fattah Al-Sharafi, district director Mahdi Arhab, Deputy General Mobilization Officer for the official sector in the Secretariat Radwan Al-Khawlani, along with leaders and community figures.
In Al-Tahrir District, residents of the neighborhoods of southern Al-Qaa, Al-Sayyad in the 26 September area, Kuwait, the Old University, Al-Kahraba, and central Al-Qaa held two community gatherings marking the Prophet's birth, with the attendance of Al-Tahrir District Director Naji Al-Shi'ani, the Secretariat's Community Initiatives Director Rashid Mufaddal, and the district mobilization officer Abdul-Latif Al-Wali.
Al-Sab'een District also witnessed celebratory evenings organized by residents of the neighborhoods of Al-Haras Association, northern Al-Bir, Al-Saratih, Al-Ansiy Mosque, and Al-Nasr Al-Sharqiyah, attended by Assistant Deputy of the Secretariat Abdullah Al-Hajri and the director of the Secretariat's Slaughterhouses Office Ahmed Idris.
