Dhamar: A speech event was held on Sunday at the Central Reform Facility in Dhamar to commemorate Wilayah Day, marking the anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib's appointment at Ghadir Khumm. According to Yemen News Agency, Lt. Col. Ismail Mutahar, the Director of Guidance and Public Relations at the Governorate Security Administration, emphasized the importance of Wilayah Day in promoting concepts aimed at correcting the course of the nation. He noted its role in strengthening faith-based identity and reinforcing Quranic culture. Mutahar stressed the necessity for the nation to return to the teachings of Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), Imam Ali, and the righteous guides. He highlighted that moving away from their guidance had left the nation susceptible to oppression and domination.
