Women in Hodeida Commemorate Ashura with Faith-Based Activities

Hodeida: Women's cultural activities were held across five locations in Hodeida governorate to mark Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. Organized by the General Women's Cultural Authority, the events took place in Hodeida city, Bajil, al-Mansouriyah, al-Durayhimi, and Bayt Faqih districts.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events featured Quran recitations, speeches, and cultural segments that reflected on the values of Karbala and the legacy of Imam Hussein. Participants highlighted the role of women in upholding identity and resistance, drawing parallels between Zainab's courage and the resilience of Yemeni women.

The participants expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza and praised the support operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, calling them a reflection of Ashura's revolutionary spirit. The events concluded with public pledges to uphold the values of truth, dignity, and resistance embodied by Imam Hussein.
