Al-mahwit: The Women's Authority in Al-Mahwit city organized a mass stand today to commemorate International Quds Day, under the slogan "Day of Awakening for All Arab and Islamic Peoples," in solidarity with the Iranian and Lebanese peoples.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants at the event emphasized that commemorating International Quds Day demonstrates the nation's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their rightful cause while denouncing the crimes and violations committed by the Zionist enemy against Palestinians and Islamic sanctities, particularly the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
During the stand, speeches highlighted that Quds Day serves as an annual opportunity to renew the commitment to support the nation's causes, raise awareness about the threats posed by the Zionist project, and mobilize Arab and Islamic peoples to fulfill their religious and humanitarian duties in defending Holy Jerusalem.
The participants expressed their solidarity with the Iranian and Lebanese peoples against assaults and conspiracies targeting resistance forces in the region, asserting that a unified popular stance strengthens the resistance against challenges and conspiracies facing the nation.
A statement from the stand reaffirmed the ongoing role of Yemeni women in raising awareness and supporting the Palestinian cause and other national issues. It emphasized the importance of adhering to the teachings of the Holy Quran, the Great Messenger, and his Household, and of following the path of jihad in confronting the nation's adversaries.
The statement also reiterated the steadfastness of the Yemeni popular stance in supporting Palestine until the full liberation of Palestinian territories and the restoration of rights and Islamic sanctities.
