Raymah: The Women's Authority in Raymah province today commemorated the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) with an oratorical event under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master." The speeches of the participants affirmed the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons from the life, sacrifices, and courage of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and to follow his righteous path.
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches considered the commemoration of Yawm al-Wilayah as a faith-based milestone to strengthen the connection to the family of the Messenger of God (peace be upon them), and to declare disavowal of the tyrants of the age at a time when hypocritical regimes have resorted to allegiance to Jews and Christians.
The participants renewed their affirmation of loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and the banners of guidance, and disavowal of the enemies of God and the enemies of the nation. The event featured expressive poems and cultural segments.
