Taiz: The Women's Authority in Taiz Governorate organized a speech event on Friday to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zayd (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event highlighted the lessons of struggle from the revolution of Imam Zayd, known as 'the Ally of the Quran.' They described this revolution as a continuation in principle and stance of the revolution of his grandfather, Imam Hussein.
The event emphasized the connection between Imam Zayd's revolution and the nation's current battle against U.S.-Israeli aggression, particularly in Gaza. Participants stressed that his revolution remains a timeless example of steadfastness in defending the truth and confronting tyranny.
The participants also underscored the significance of commemorating the occasion. They focused on drawing faith-based lessons from Imam Zayd's uprising against oppressors and reviving the values, principles, and morals he upheld.
