Hajjah: The Women's Authority in Hajjah province organized cultural events today to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). Speeches were delivered in various districts, including Al-Shahil, Al-Mahabsha, Kuhlan Al-Sharaf, Al-Miftah, Qarah, Kushar, and Mabin, highlighting key aspects of Imam Ali's life and his significant contributions to the Islamic religion and the Prophet Muhammad.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events delved into the relationship between Imam Ali, known as the Commander of the Faithful, and the people of wisdom and faith, as well as his esteemed status with the Messenger of Allah. Speakers at the events emphasized learning about Imam Ali's character, virtues, asceticism, and piety, encouraging attendees to follow his path.
The discussions also touched on the importance of returning to Allah and the Holy Qur'an, adhering to the Muhammadan approach, the path of Ahl al-Bayt, and the righteous leaders. This was particularly highlighted in the context of current global challenges, including perceived threats from the United States and Israel.
The speakers reiterated that the Palestinian cause remains a central issue, expressing a commitment to defeating the Zionist entity and liberating Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Palestinian territories. They affirmed solidarity with Iran, Lebanon, and Palestine against the Zionist entity's aggression, underscoring the Yemeni people's principled stance on supporting the Palestinian cause.
Furthermore, the need to strengthen resilience against schemes and conspiracies targeting the nation was stressed, with the commemoration of Quds Day viewed as an opportunity to mobilize support for the Palestinian people.
