Al-mahwit: The Women’s Committee in the districts of Al-Madina, Al-Rajm, and Shibam Kawkaban in Al-Mahwit Governorate organized solidarity rallies with the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to the aggression it is facing from the United States and Israel. Participants in the rallies carried banners expressing solidarity with the Iranian people and condemning the U.S.-Israeli aggression against them. They affirmed that this aggression will not deter the nations of the Ummah from maintaining their firm positions in support of their just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
According to Yemen News Agency, a statement issued at the rallies affirmed that the Yemeni people stand alongside their brothers in Iran in confronting challenges and conspiracies. The statement expressed full solidarity with the Ummah’s just causes, while emphasizing the importance of strengthening unity to confront schemes targeting the present and future of the Ummah.
The statement also stressed Iran’s legitimate right to defend itself and respond to sources of threat, including bases used to launch aggression against it. It noted that such bases represent a threat to regional security and stability.
