Sanaa: The Southern Movement component participating in the National Dialogue Conference and signatory to the Peace and Partnership Agreement strongly condemned the American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a statement issued by the component – a copy of which was received – it considered this brutal aggression to be part of an open war targeting resistance forces, a dangerous escalation threatening the stability and security of the region and the world at large, and revealing a systematic aggressive project being carried out by Israel and America against Arab and Islamic countries and peoples to subjugate and plunder them. The statement affirmed the steadfast and principled position of the Southern Movement, which considers itself an extension and an integral part of the honorable and courageous historical stances of the Republic of Yemen in standing in solidarity with the causes of the nations and peoples of the Arab world, including the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian people, in the face of the brutal aggression waged by the forces of arrogance, tyranny, and Zionist-American hegemony and their allies.
It clarified that the targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran stems from its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, its rejection of normalization projects and Western American hegemony, and its opposition to the Greater Israel project.
The Movement expressed its solidarity and support for Iran, its leadership and people, in gratitude and appreciation for its courageous stances alongside Arab and Islamic causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the plight of the Palestinian people.
The Southern Movement called upon all the people of Yemen to heed the call of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to participate in the honorable million-person marches tomorrow in al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a, and in squares throughout the rest of the governorates, in solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to reject and confront the aggressive projects and plans.
