Women’s Committee in Sana’a Dispatches 21st Eid Convoy to Support Frontline Fighters

Sana'a: The women's committee of the General Mobilization in the capital Sana'a dispatched its 21st Eid aid convoy to frontline fighters ahead of Eid al-Adha, reaffirming public support for those stationed on the frontlines.

According to Yemen News Agency, the convoy included Eid supplies such as nuts, sweets, and traditional pastries valued at nearly 19 million Yemeni rials. Officials said the initiative reflects continued solidarity and support from women in the Capital Secretariat for fighters defending the country.

General Coordinator Ibtisam al-Mahtouri stated that the convoy is part of ongoing efforts during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to support frontline personnel and demonstrate national and religious responsibility.

Khadija al-Kebsi, head of convoy activities, emphasized that the initiative was made possible through broad participation from women across the capital and highlighted the strong connection between the home front and military frontlines.
