Hajjah: The Women's Development Department at the Hajjah Governorate Office conducted a visit to the local orphanage as part of activities dedicated to commemorating the Prophet's Birthday. Director General of Women's Development, Aya Al-Hamzi, engaged with the orphanage administration, receiving insights into the educational and cultural programs offered to the children, as well as discussing the institution's needs and the requirements of the children.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Hamzi emphasized the necessity of collective efforts in supporting the work of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in caring for orphans, a group that demands ongoing attention and support. Following the visit, the Women's Development Department, in collaboration with the Social Affairs and Labor Office, organized a cultural event to celebrate the Prophet's Birthday.
During the event, Al-Hamzi highlighted the importance of using the occasion to implement programs of charity and benevolence, with particular focus on orphans and vulnerable families, following the example of Prophet Muhammad. She also shared episodes from the Prophet's life that demonstrated his values and compassion, viewing the commemoration as a time to renew faith and loyalty to God and His Messenger, who brought truth, abolished falsehood, and led humanity from darkness into light.
