Sana'a: The Women's Authority in the Hamdan district of Sana'a governorate organized a cultural event on Thursday to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the gathering, held in the village of 'Alaw Dhulaa, emphasized the importance of observing this religious occasion as an expression of love and loyalty to God and His Messenger. They also highlighted the renewal of commitment to upholding faith-based and humanitarian values.
The speakers pointed out that celebrating the Prophet's birth is seen as an act of obedience to God and an expression of gratitude for His blessing in sending a compassionate Messenger to the believers. They conveyed a message to the enemies of the Ummah that Yemenis remain steadfast in their attachment to the Prophet.
The speeches also focused on the accomplishments of the Yemeni people, attributing their victories to their dedication to God, His Messenger, and the Prophet's household. Furthermore, they mentioned Yemen's principled stance in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, derived from the Prophet's path of struggle and compassion for the distressed.
The event included speeches, anthems, a theatrical performance, and a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people. Participants affirmed their continued support for Gaza until victory is achieved and occupied lands and Islamic sanctities are liberated.
