Sana'a: Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in the Capital Secretariat organized a commemorative event on Thursday to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) for the year 1447 AH. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Mansour, Chairman of the Cancer Control Fund Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Madani, and the Hospital's President Dr. Khaled Al-Madani.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy President of the Authority Abdulazim Al-Houthi highlighted the strong spiritual bond linking Yemenis to the Prophet. He noted that Yemenis are the descendants of the Ansar who supported and fought alongside the Prophet, spreading his message globally. Al-Houthi stressed that celebrating the Prophet's birth is an expression of loyalty and deep attachment to the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, underscoring the importance of honoring Prophet Muhammad's memory.
Al-Houthi urged that love for the Prophet be shown by celebrating this occasion and following his righteous path, emphasizing the Yemeni people's steadfast faith and devotion. He also called on health sector workers to embody values of compassion, solidarity, and kindness in serving patients. Additionally, he encouraged health professionals to participate in mobilization efforts and central events across the provinces on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, demonstrating Yemenis' devotion to their Prophet and their support for the oppressed Palestinian people.
Dr. Qais Al-Tul, Head of the Guidance Sector in the Capital Secretariat, spoke on the profound meanings of commemorating the Prophet's birth. He emphasized the significance of embodying values of honesty, sincerity, and benevolence, and following the Prophet's example in courage, struggle, noble conduct, and pure life. Dr. Al-Tul affirmed that celebrating this occasion and expressing joy reflects the deep love of the Muslim nation for Prophet Muhammad, sending a message to the world that he remains alive in the hearts of the faithful.
Meanwhile, a statement on behalf of the hospital staff emphasized that commemorating this occasion is among the most sacred and significant religious events. The Yemeni people are keen to uphold this event as an authentic expression of their faith-based identity, loyalty, and love for the Prophet, his noble example, and his eternal legacy.
