Hodeida: Hodeida governorate witnessed large-scale women's speeches and cultural events this afternoon commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali (peace be upon them both), under the slogan "Insight and Jihad," and expressing support for the Armed Forces' statement.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events, held in the districts of Al-Mina, Al-Hali, Al-Hawak, Al-Tuhayta, Al-Zaydiyah, Bajil, Al-Dahi, Al-Maghlaf, and Al-Durayhimi, addressed the significance of the revolution and the inspiration for steadfastness drawn from the memory of Imam Zaid's martyrdom, as well as the importance of recalling the meaning of sacrifice in confronting the tyrants of our time.

During the events organized by the Women's Authority, speeches were delivered that considered the commemoration of this anniversary a mobilization opportunity to draw lessons from Imam Zaid's jihadist stances against the forces of evil and tyranny-"America, Israel, and their proxies"-calling for emulating him in supporting truth, enjoining good, and forbidding evil.

The speakers emphasized that Imam Zaid's revolution embodied the values of confronting arrogance, drawing his culture and courage from the Holy Quran. They considered his revolution an extension of his grandfather Imam Hussein's revolution at Karbala, a sacrifice for the sake of upholding truth and supporting the oppressed.

They addressed the principles for which Imam Zaid acted and the goals of his revolution in correcting deviations and raising awareness and insight to confront the enemies of Islam, stressing the nation's current need to rectify and address the setbacks, oppression, and subjugation it has suffered.

The speakers noted that the revolution of Imam Zaid is embodied today in the principles upheld by the heroes of the Yemeni army, who have resolutely and steadfastly embarked on the path of jihad to confront the aggression, protect the security and sovereignty of the homeland, and achieve victories in resisting the forces of invasion and occupation.

The events included speeches and poems, all expressing the importance of commemorating the anniversary and making it a platform for raising awareness, recalling historical events in the life of the nation, and drawing from them what increases its awareness, insight, strength, and will.

Following the events, the participants held rallies in support of the armed forces' statement on defending the homeland's sovereignty and independence, restoring national resources, and repelling the occupiers, affirming their absolute support for the choices of the revolutionary leadership.

A statement issued at the rallies declared the absolute rejection of the continued blockade imposed by the US-Saudi aggression coalition on the airports and seaports of the Republic of Yemen, emphasizing that any attack or violation of airspace will be met with a firm and strong response.

In their statement, the women of Tihama expressed their complete solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and their rejection of the ongoing American violations, which disregard all agreements and treaties. They praised the unity and cohesion of the Iranian people and the participation of millions in the massive funeral procession for the martyred Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The statement reaffirmed the commitment to the unity of the resistance fronts and to full cooperation and coordination with the axis of resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, declaring their readiness to confront any escalation by the enemies.

It also highlighted the steadfastness of the Yemeni people, rooted in their faith and their Quranic path, in their liberation struggle and their adherence to the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. The statement called upon all free people of Yemen, in both the north and the south, to unite against the occupier until every inch of Yemeni land is liberated, its plundered sovereign wealth is recovered, and its complete freedom and independence are achieved.
