Sanaa: The Women's Authority of the General Mobilization in the Capital Secretariat organized a significant women's rally on Monday under the banner "Readiness, Mobilization to End Aggression and the Blockade." The event saw active participation from various units and organizations, including the Cultural Unit, Outreach Unit, Women Workers Affairs Unit, Awareness and Media Unit, Siraj Foundation for Cultural Development, and Madarek Center for Studies and Community Development Research.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rally was conducted in collaboration with the Women's Branch of the Higher Academy of the Holy Qur'an and Its Sciences, the Women's Awareness Department of the Guidance Sector, and the General Department for Women's Development in the Capital Secretariat along with its district branches. Participants reaffirmed their steadfastness in confronting aggression and supporting what they described as just causes of the nation.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from faith, perseverance, and patience. They urged the strengthening of community preparedness, expansion of cultural and educational mobilization, and reinforcement of Qur'anic values and identity to counter soft warfare and safeguard society against hostile campaigns.
The rally's statement highlighted the achievements of the Cultural Unit, which included delivering over 30,000 cultural lectures, organizing more than 2,000 events and 700 guidance councils, and establishing over 230 Qur'an Generation schools. It also noted the graduation of approximately 150,000 female students from Qur'anic schools and councils.
The statement further commended the Women's Branch of the Higher Academy of the Holy Qur'an and Its Sciences for conducting over 4,000 lectures, seminars, and awareness sessions, organizing more than 20 events and rallies, providing financial and in-kind support to the armed forces, and contributing to humanitarian activities.
Additionally, the Outreach Unit reportedly organized 3,012 training courses for educational cadres and 3,640 courses accompanying public events and occasions. The Women Workers Affairs Unit held over 6,500 cultural, awareness, and mobilization lessons, benefiting thousands of women in training and rehabilitation centers.
According to the statement, the Awareness and Media Unit carried out more than 6,000 media and awareness activities, including news reports, field coverage, films, awareness clips, educational programs, media designs, and the publication of Ain Al-Ahdath magazine. The Siraj Foundation for Cultural Development produced over 700 media and cultural works, while the Madarek Center completed four research studies on the impact of social media, soft warfare, and economic boycotts, forming the basis for awareness programs aimed at protecting society from misinformation campaigns.
The statement reaffirmed support for the positions outlined in the Leader's speech marking the anniversary of the Prophet's Hijrah, stressing a commitment to what it described as the faithful stance against the nation's enemies, continued support for the Palestinian cause, the Axis of Resistance, and enhanced readiness and mobilization in backing the armed forces until the aggression and blockade are ended and victory is achieved.
