Workshop Conducted at PMO Planning Sector for 1447 A.H Plan Preparation

Sana'a: The Planning Sector of the Prime Minister's Office recently held a workshop aimed at preparing the central-level plan for the year 1447 AH, involving planning teams from various ministries.

According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop's objectives included educating participants on the government's priorities for the upcoming plan, the models for its preparation, and the criteria for project development. Jarallah Fadel, Assistant Director of the PMO for Planning, emphasized the significance of planning in the development and modernization of the Yemeni state. He highlighted the importance of aligning plans with government priorities to address citizens' needs by setting clear central-level project priorities.

Fadel also stressed the necessity of reviewing previous plans to identify and rectify shortcomings while avoiding randomness in future planning and implementation. The workshop aimed to improve the performance of planning teams across government entities.

Ali Al-Mutamayiz, Deputy Assistant Director for Planning, expressed optimism that the workshop would foster a clear understanding of the 1447 AH plan's directives and priorities. He reiterated the Planning Sector's role in supporting ministries with plan preparation and monitoring implementation while emphasizing the adherence to government priorities and mechanisms.

During the workshop, trainer Mutahhar al-Shaari from the Planning Sector reviewed the determinants for preparing the 1447 AH plan at the central level. He explained the preparation timeline and various models available, underscoring the importance of completing and submitting periodic follow-up forms for evaluation reports on plan and project implementation progress.
