Workshop in Ibb’s Education Sector Focuses on Security Awareness During Summer Courses

Sana'a: The education sector in Ibb Governorate organized a training workshop on Wednesday, in cooperation with the Department of Moral Guidance and Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior and local security agencies, to launch security awareness activities in summer courses under the slogan: 'Our security is our responsibility. with faith, awareness, security and stability are achieved.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop, attended by the governorate's mobilization official Abdul Fattah Ghallab, Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations at the Security Department Lt. Col. Zaid Al-Naqeeb, Deputy Head of the Education Sector Mohammed Al-Mutawakel, along with educational and security leaders, focused on strategies to enhance security awareness among students. It aimed to activate awareness programs in summer schools to instill values of discipline and social responsibility.

Ghallab highlighted the importance of combining educational and security efforts to raise youth awareness. He stressed the necessity of delivering security messages through effective educational methods that contribute to building students' awareness and strengthening their national belonging.

Lt. Col. Al-Naqeeb explained that the Ministry of Interior's activities in summer courses, scheduled from Dhu al-Qi'dah 22 to 27, are part of a plan to develop security awareness among students. These activities are designed to educate students about the dangers of rumors and ideological warfare.

He also emphasized the need to increase awareness of the effects of negative phenomena such as drug use, contributing to building a balanced personality capable of facing challenges consciously.

Deputy Head of the Education Sector praised the role of security agencies in supporting the educational process. He emphasized the importance of integrating awareness programs into summer activities and adopting the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Interior to enhance the spread of security culture among students.
