Sana'a: The Faculty of Medical Administration, in collaboration with the Development and Quality Assurance Center at 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences in Sana'a Governorate, organized today a workshop to launch postgraduate programs.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop aimed to introduce the new postgraduate programs that the faculty plans to launch, enrich its academic outputs, and announce four postgraduate programs including: a PhD in Health Administration, a Master's in Total Quality Management and Patient Safety, a Master's in Public Administration, and a Master's in Business Administration. This initiative is part of the university's direction towards qualitative expansion in postgraduate programs and enhancing the quality of education and scientific research.
The President of the University, Dr. Mujahid Maasar, pointed out that the workshop comes as an extension of continuous development in various academic fields, and a new gateway for students enrolling in postgraduate studies, affirming the university's commitment to opening qualitative specializations required in the medical, applied, and professional fields.
He highlighted the importance of these programs in supplying the health and administrative sectors with specialized scientific competencies capable of contributing to the development of health and administrative institutions and improving their performance efficiency.
For his part, the Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Saleem Al-Rayashi, explained that the workshop aimed to launch a number of qualitative postgraduate programs, including the PhD in Health Administration as the first health doctorate program (academic and professional) at the national level.
He mentioned that the workshop comes within the series of academic activities implemented by the university to develop its educational programs and enhance its role in serving society and meeting the requirements of development and the labor market.
