Sana'a: The Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Hussein Al-Eidarous, received today the shield of the International Conference on the Greatest Messenger, presented by the conference leadership and organizing committee in appreciation of his efforts, contributions, and the Shura Council's active role in supporting and ensuring the success of intellectual and cultural activities and events aimed at strengthening connection to the Noble Messenger and the Holy Quran.
According to Yemen News Agency, the shield was presented in the presence of the Deputy Speaker of the Council, Dhaifallah Rassam, by the President of the Conference, Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, the Deputy Head of the Conference's Supervisory Committee, Abdulrahman Al-Afad, the Deputy President of the Conference, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amiri, the Deputy Head of the Preparatory Committee, Abdullah Rabeed, and a member of the Preparatory Committee, Dr. Ali Muthaffar.
The Speaker of the Shura Council expressed his gratitude to the leadership and organizing committee of the International Conference on the Greatest Messenger for this generous gesture, praising the significant and qualitative efforts made by those overseeing the conference in highlighting the Muhammadan light and the humanitarian and jihadist dimensions of the noble Prophetic biography, especially in light of the historical turning points the nation is undergoing that call for a sincere return to the Greatest Messenger as a leader, educator, and excellent role model.
Al-Eidarous affirmed that the Shura Council will remain a supporter and backer of all intellectual and cultural efforts and initiatives that seek to unify the Islamic ranks, fortify society, and move forward on the path of liberation, independence, and adherence to faith identity and religious and national constants.
For his part, the President of the International Conference on the Greatest Messenger noted that this honor comes as an expression of appreciation for the responsible and distinguished role played by the Shura Council's presidency and members in sponsoring seminars and activities concerned with spreading the noble Prophetic biography, strengthening faith identity, and promoting unifying values among the nation's people in facing challenges and destructive ideas.
