Workshop to Organize Final Examinations in Technical Institutes in Dhamar

Dhamar: The Technical Education and Vocational Training Sector in Dhamar Governorate organized a training workshop for supervisors participating in the implementation of the ministerial final examinations for vocational and technical institutes, as part of preparations for the final exams of the academic year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for the Secondary Education Sector, Dr. Zaid Al-Haddour, praised the organization of the workshop, highlighting it as an initiative reflecting leadership's commitment within the sector and institutes to early preparation for ministerial examinations. He affirmed that such workshops contribute to improving performance levels and ensuring discipline within examination centers.

He emphasized the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations, maintaining professional responsibility and neutrality, and working in a team spirit to ensure the success of the examination process.

For his part, the Head of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Sector in the governorate, Ahmed Al-Jarfy, stated that the workshop is part of a comprehensive plan to develop institutional performance and enhance the efficiency of personnel working in examinations. He stressed the need to unify procedures among all staff in examination centers and adhere to ministerial regulations and instructions to ensure transparency and integrity in conducting exams.

The workshop addressed several key topics, most notably: the general framework of ministerial examinations, the duties and responsibilities of supervisors before, during, and after examinations, regulations of examination halls, mechanisms for dealing with violations, in addition to time management inside halls and organizational and administrative aspects related to the examination process.

The workshop sessions were led by the Assistant Head of the Examination Center, Engineer Essam Al-Soufi, and the Director of the Examinations Department, Rajah Al-Janati, who provided detailed explanations to participants on organizing examination procedures and standardizing implementation methods across different committees, along with presenting practical models to unify performance.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the discussion was opened for participants to raise inquiries and discuss the main challenges they may face during exam implementation. Several proposals and practical solutions were presented to enhance performance quality and improve the examination environment.
