Sana'a: A meeting was held on Tuesday in the capital Sana'a, chaired by the Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam al-Bashiri, to discuss the priorities of the Ministry's action plan for the year 1448H, along with the agencies affiliated to it.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the ministry's sector undersecretaries, including Engineer Sami Maqbuli from the Industrial and Economic Cities Sector, Abdul Fattah al-Zuwid from the Business Services Sector, Fouad al-Haydi from the Foreign Trade and Export Development Sector, Fouad al-Janid from the Policies, Studies, and Planning Sector, and Mohammad Qatran from the Acting Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Sector. The attendees reviewed the guidelines set by the revolutionary leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddine al-Houthi.
During the meeting, Acting Minister al-Bashiri emphasized the necessity of translating the leader's directives into actionable steps on the ground. He urged all attendees to recognize the responsibility placed upon them amid the exceptional circumstances and to prioritize serving the citizens while alleviating their suffering due to the ongoing aggression and siege.
Al-Bashiri stressed the importance of all ministry leaders and affiliated agencies working as a cohesive team to ensure role integration across all economic sectors and institutions. He encouraged innovation and problem-solving to address existing challenges effectively.
The Acting Minister also highlighted the progress made by the Ministry in moving towards automation, underscoring the critical need to complete this transition. He emphasized that automation would simplify procedures, enhance services, and expedite transaction processing, ultimately contributing to a more efficient and responsive economic system.
