Wosab: The Health Care Association for Affected Communities is set to launch its 63rd free medical camp for eye surgery tomorrow at the Al-Ahad Rural Hospital in the Wasab District of Dhamar Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the medical camp will run from Shawwal 16-20 and is funded by Yemen Mobile. The initiative is being coordinated with the Ministry of Public Health and Environment and its local office in the governorate. The camp aims to offer medical examinations and perform 200 surgeries, including cataracts, pterygium, and blepharoplasty, targeting vulnerable residents of the district.
The initiative seeks to alleviate the suffering of residents who are grappling with difficult financial conditions due to ongoing aggression and blockade, which have exacerbated economic and health challenges for citizens.
