Sana'a: Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) has appointed Finance Minister Salem Saleh Bin Braik as the country's new prime minister following the resignation of Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak. According to Nam News Network, the decision was made just hours after Mubarak stepped down, citing constitutional constraints and obstacles that hindered his reform efforts. Braik, who has been serving as the finance minister since 2019 and was the vice finance minister before that, has held several key financial and administrative roles throughout his career.
