Sana'a: Yemen Mobile, Facilities Police, the Ministry of Electricity and Water, and the Flosak Wallet team defeated their opponents today in the opening of the third round of the 9th Telecom Football Tournament for Companies, organized by the Companies Union under the patronage of Yemen Telecom.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the opening of Group Three's matches, the Flosak Wallet team continued to top the group after defeating the Passport Authority team by a clean 3-0, with goals scored by Mahmoud Dahan and Jihad Al-Khalil, who scored twice. The winners raised their tally to seven points at the top, while the Passport Authority remained without points at the bottom.
In the same group, Yemen Mobile decisively won against the Ministry of Oil with a 5-0 victory, thanks to goals scored by Yasser Al-Omari, who netted three times, and Ismail Al-Bakri, who scored twice. Yemen Mobile advanced to six points in second place, while the Ministry of Oil remained with one point in fourth place.
In Group Four matches, the Facilities Police team achieved its first victory in the tournament by defeating the Public Prosecution team 3-1, with goals from Ahmed Al-Yamani, Suleiman Al-Maqhafi, and Youssef Al-Houri. The Public Prosecution's only goal was scored by Ismail Al-Radmi.
Similarly, the Ministry of Electricity and Water team recorded its first victory in the tournament with a commanding 5-0 win over the Palestinian Community team. Ibrahim Tarboush scored twice, and additional goals were provided by Kamal Al-Masouri and Ibrahim Hatim.
With these results, four teams are now tied with four points each, with goal difference placing Kak Bank at the top of the group, followed by Facilities Police in second, the Palestinian Community in third, and the Ministry of Electricity and Water in fourth, while the Public Prosecution remains at the bottom without points.
