Sana'a: The Yemen Standards and Metrology Authority (YSMA) is actively participating in the marketing exhibition for local products taking place in Sana'a. The Authority's pavilion is a focal point for raising awareness about quality and safety requirements, guiding producers to adhere to standards that ensure consumers receive reliable and safe products.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdullah Al-Atifi, the Executive General Manager of YSMA, has highlighted that the exhibition includes awareness activities specifically aimed at family-run businesses. These activities introduce participants to the technical support provided by the Authority, helping them produce and manufacture products that comply with relevant standards and technical regulations. The event also features the distribution of informational and educational materials to attendees.
Al-Atifi stressed the Authority's dedication to participating in initiatives that align with the state's goals of achieving self-sufficiency and empowering family-run businesses. The exhibition showcases a diverse range of products from local families, including clothing, accessories, handicrafts, embroidery, cleaning products, perfumes, incense, honey, traditional ghee, and various foods. The exhibition will continue until 9 December.
