Sana'a: Yemen's U-17 national team achieved a commanding 10-0 victory against Guam in the AFC qualifiers' second round of Group B, held in Kyrgyzstan. The match witnessed Yemen's dominance from the start, with the team taking a strong lead by halftime.
According to Yemen News Agency, Yemen led 7-0 at the break, thanks to goals from Fahd al-Faqih, Haitham al-Faqih, Bashir Silan, who scored twice, and Youssef Fadel. The second half saw Guam contributing an own goal, while Mohammed Sadiq and Ahmed Nasser added to Yemen's tally, concluding the match with a decisive win.
This victory places Yemen at the top of Group B with six points, leaving Guam at the bottom with no points. Yemen, under the guidance of coach Haitham al-Asbahi, is set to play against Cambodia next on Wednesday afternoon.
