Yemeni Armed Forces Announce Naval Blockade on Haifa Port Amid Escalating Conflict

General

Sana'a: In a significant escalation of regional tensions, the Yemeni Armed Forces have declared a naval blockade on the port of Haifa, situated in the Palestinian territories. This move comes as a direct response to what the Yemeni forces describe as the Israeli enemy's continuous and brutal aggression, which they claim has resulted in numerous massacres and a mounting death toll in Gaza.

According to Yemen News Agency, the announcement emphasized that the blockade is a reaction to the persistent siege and starvation imposed by Israeli forces, coupled with a refusal to cease hostilities and lift the blockade on Gaza. The Yemeni Armed Forces, expressing their resolve and reliance on divine support, have proceeded to enforce their leadership's directives by targeting the port of Haifa.

Consequently, the Yemeni military has issued a warning to all shipping companies with vessels currently at or en route to Haifa, indicating that the port is now considered a target zone. Companies are advised to heed this announcement and any future updates regarding the situation.

This decision follows a successful blockade previously imposed on the port of Umm al-Rashrash, which has reportedly brought operations there to a halt. The Yemeni Armed Forces have conveyed their commitment to taking further action, if necessary, to support the Palestinian people and their resistance efforts.

The statement concludes by noting that all military measures, including the blockade and any support operations against Israel, will be suspended once the aggression against Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.
