Sana'a: A responsible source at the Yemeni Cabinet condemned statements circulated by the Saudi Cabinet, describing them as blatant misrepresentations aimed at distorting facts about what the source called Saudi Arabia's 12-year war and siege against the Yemeni people.
According to Yemen News Agency, the source denounced Saudi Arabia's attempts to impose domination and control over Yemen, stressing that Yemen has sought only an end to the attacks, the lifting of the blockade on its ports, airports, and non-interference in its internal affairs.
The source stated that Yemen's armed forces had not targeted civilian facilities inside Saudi Arabia, adding that attacks on vital sites, including Aramco facilities in Jizan, Najran, and Asir, were carried out in response to Saudi attacks on Yemen.
The source emphasized that Yemen would continue defending its sovereignty and seeking to regain its rights and resources, warning Saudi Arabia against further escalation.
He also called on Saudi-backed recruits to reconsider their position before it was too late, asserting that those responsible for what he described as Saudi crimes against Yemen would ultimately be held accountable.
