Nagoya:Japan: Mohammed Al-Ahjri, Secretary-General of the Yemeni Olympic Committee, recently held a meeting with Jang Young-sul, Vice President of the South Korean Archery Federation, and Choi Kyung-hwan, the Federation's Secretary-General.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussion took place on the sidelines of the archery competitions at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games in Japan.
The meeting, also attended by Abdulsalam Atef, a member of the Yemeni Olympic Committee's Board of Directors and President of the General Shooting Federation, focused on enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in the field of archery.
Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening joint cooperation and maintaining communication and coordination to develop the sport, supporting athletes and coaches in the process.
This initiative is part of the Yemeni Olympic Committee's broader strategy to expand its international network and establish new partnerships with sports organizations worldwide, aiming to leverage international expertise to improve Yemeni sports across various fields.
