Sanaa: The Yemeni Parliament congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with the heroes of the Resistance Axis in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq, on their historic victory over the Israeli-American aggression that targeted the Iranian people and their resources for more than 40 days.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Parliament issued a statement praising the steadfastness of the Iranian leadership and people, and the Resistance Axis, in the face of the aggression launched by Israel, America, and their agents. The statement emphasized that Iran proved itself not to be an easy target, as its adversaries, including Netanyahu and Trump, had believed.

The statement detailed how the Iranian leadership and people absorbed the initial blows of the aggression, which confounded the enemy and defied its calculations. Iran transitioned from defense to offense, inflicting unexpected losses on the Israeli-American forces. This shift resulted in a protracted conflict that threatened the temporary existence of the aggressors.

The statement highlighted Iran's ability to withstand the attack, thwart the aggression, and shatter the illusion of a swift victory. The Iranian leadership's capabilities and readiness were commensurate with the challenges, prepared to wage a prolonged conflict that Israel and America could not sustain.

Furthermore, the statement noted the failure of America and Israel to achieve their declared objectives, despite their actions against the Iranian people, including the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other leaders. These leaders made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of Iran and its values.

The statement emphasized the failure of Israel and America to achieve regime change in Iran, despite their miscalculations and flawed assessments. It praised the Iranian people's resilience and the strategic defense that spared Iran a constitutional vacuum and enabled it to confront the enemy.

The statement also acknowledged the victory of the Resistance Axis in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq, which strengthens their role against Western hegemony, with support from Russia and China. These nations demanded an end to the aggression and opposed an unjust UN resolution concerning the Strait of Hormuz.

The Council described the victory as not merely military but also a civilizational, moral, and cultural triumph, restoring the dignity of the nation. It highlighted the high morale of the Iranian people and others in the Resistance Axis in confronting the aggression.

The Parliament urged the Iranian people and allies to remain vigilant to thwart further enemy plans, noting the enemy's unexpected losses and current plea for mediation. It also pointed out the failure to drag regional countries into conflict with Iran.

The Council commended the realization by some politicians in the Gulf states of the conspiracy's dimensions, which would only benefit Israel and America at the expense of regional resources and interests. It condemned the double standards that criticized Iran's self-defense while ignoring the aggression against Iran.
