Al-Hodeidah: The Al-Hodeidah branch of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society has launched an initiative to distribute Eid clothing packages to vulnerable groups in Al-Hodeidah city, under the initiative titled 'Clothe them and Allah will enrich you.' This project is focused on aiding the poor, orphans, and those affected by floods in the districts of Al-Hali, Al-Hawak, and Al-Mina.
According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative aims to distribute 1,200 clothing packages as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the families most in need. The initiative also seeks to promote social solidarity, especially with the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday.
Jaber Al-Razhi, Director of the Red Crescent's Al-Hodeidah branch, stated that this project is a part of a series of activities organized annually by the society during religious occasions. The goal is to bring joy to those in need, particularly focusing on orphaned children and their families.
Al-Razhi highlighted the society's comprehensive humanitarian vision, with plans to expand its services in the future. He urged donors and charitable organizations to strengthen community partnerships and support initiatives that help alleviate the suffering of vulnerable groups. He also acknowledged the dedication of volunteers and field teams who played a significant role in the success of the distribution campaign, reaffirming the organization's commitment to continuing its humanitarian efforts amidst the challenging circumstances facing the country.
