Yemeni Response: Striking Sensitive Enemy Targets in Context of Confronting New Middle East Project

General

Sana'a: The latest Yemeni military operation, which involved launching a salvo of missiles targeting sensitive sites of the Israeli enemy in occupied Jaffa, came as a response to the ongoing American-Zionist aggression against the axis of jihad and resistance in Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. It also represents a rejection of the Zionist project aimed at imposing its hegemony over the region under the slogan of the "New Middle East" and paving the way for the establishment of the so-called "Greater Israel."

According to Yemen News Agency, upon objective and careful examination, it is affirmed that the "New Middle East" project is not new; its proposal dates back years, and it became notably prominent during the Israeli war on Lebanon in 2006, when then-US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice referred to it. This concept is presented as a political and strategic framework for reshaping the region and redefining its balances, by rearranging regional alliances, sidelining resistance forces, and introducing fundamental changes to the region's political and security structure.

It is a colonial project that has been declared for years. Yet, the region's leaders did not pay it sufficient attention, nor did they take the initiative to study its dimensions and risks or develop the necessary visions and strategies to confront it - as if it were an issue that does not affect their countries' sovereignty or their independence and future, despite its potential repercussions on the region's security and stability.

Only Yemen and the resistance forces in the region realized the gravity of this colonial project and seriously confronted it, declaring their absolute rejection and opposing it in action, stance, and with weapons - in order to abort it and eliminate its effects. This is within the framework of the principle of unified arenas, confronting enemies, and in response to the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon, Iran, and Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the imposition of a complete ban on maritime navigation linked to the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea, affirming that all its movements have now become military targets. They also stressed that they will respond to any escalation with similar escalation, and that their military operations will continue and develop in line with unfolding events and the level of confrontation taking place across the fronts of the axis of jihad and resistance.

It is certain that the Yemeni people and all the peoples of the nation have the right to confront the American-Israeli enemy, and they should not stand idly by in the face of the siege targeting the Yemeni people and the peoples of the resistance axis in Palestine, Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq.
