Sana'a: The Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development has declared that all employees within the state administrative apparatus, as well as those in the public and mixed sectors, will observe an official holiday tomorrow, Tuesday, the 1st of Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to June 16, 2026. This break is in commemoration of the anniversary of the Prophet's migration (Hijra).
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry's decision is grounded in Law No. (2) of 2000, specifically Article No. (3), Paragraph No. (3), which pertains to official holidays and vacations. This announcement underscores the significance of the occasion, as it marks a pivotal moment in Islamic history.
In light of this observance, the Ministries of Civil Service and Information have extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Leader of the Revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, as well as His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council. The message of goodwill also reaches the council members, the Prime Minister, the members of the Government of Change and Construction, and all Yemenis, including the military and security forces who are recognized for their dedication and sacrifice.
