Sanaa: The Yemeni Scholars Association has issued a strong condemnation of what it terms the U.S.-Zionist aggression against Iran, urging Arab and Islamic nations to mobilize and take decisive action to support Iran and resist the aggressors.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Association released a statement on Saturday emphasizing that the Zionist entity, in conjunction with American and foreign military bases throughout the region, poses a significant threat to regional security and stability. The statement described the aggression as part of a larger scheme aimed at dominating the region and undermining its sovereignty.

The Association urged a firm stance with the Islamic Republic of Iran, highlighting the obligation of Islamic religious, legal, and moral principles in defending Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It acknowledged the vigilance and swift response of the Iranian Armed Forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, specifically noting their targeting of U.S. bases in the region.

The Iranian response, as per the Association’s statement, serves as a caution to aggressors that any attack on Iran will encounter unwavering resilience. It highlighted that the so-called axis of resistance is prepared to counteract American and Zionist hegemonic ambitions. The Association stressed that this determination will persist on military, political, and popular fronts.

The statement concluded with a call for unity among Arab and Islamic ranks, advocating for increased political, popular, and field support for Iran to thwart aggressors’ plans and protect national sovereignty and regional security from imminent threats.
