Sanaa: The Government of Change and Building has condemned, in the strongest terms, the blatant and criminal US-Israeli aggression that targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran. In a statement issued, the Government of Change and Building considered the US-Israeli aggression a “flagrant violation of the sovereignty of an independent state” and a breach of international and humanitarian laws and conventions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the statement reaffirmed the solidarity of Yemen-leadership, government, and people-with their brothers in Iran, emphasizing Iran’s legitimate right to defend its homeland, sovereignty, independence, and dignity. It further asserted Iran’s right to possess the means of power to confront unjustified aggression through various means.
The government warned of the catastrophic consequences of this dangerous US-Israeli escalation on the countries and peoples of the region and the entire world. It noted that such actions threaten regional and global security and stability, serving the declared expansionist ambitions of the Zionist enemy in the region.
The statement held the US-Israeli aggressors fully responsible for the repercussions of this escalation, which aims to undermine the principled and firm stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
Furthermore, the statement hailed the “initial response” by the Iranian Armed Forces against the US-Israeli aggression, which targeted the depth of the Zionist entity in the occupied Arab territories and American bases in the region.
The Government of Change and Building stressed the responsibility of the region’s nations, peoples, and vital forces to condemn this overt US-Israeli aggression. It noted that the aggressors seek to break the “deterrence equation” and pave the way for occupying more Arab lands while seizing control over the nation’s resources and destiny-a situation that necessitates immediate action to thwart these plans.
The statement called upon the people of the Islamic nation to unite their ranks to confront the US-Zionist project, describing it as the greatest and most evident threat to the nation’s present, future, safety, and the independence of its peoples.
The Government of Change and Building expressed its deepest condolences and blessings to the families of the martyrs who lost their lives in this criminal aggression, which targeted civilian facilities, properties, and schools for children.
