Sanaa: A meeting comprising leaders from the Ministries of Transport and Public Works, Electricity and Energy and Water, and the Azal District in the Secretariat of the Capital discussed today the mechanism for field visits to the district to follow up on the implementation of charitable activities, projects, and the Ramadan program.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included Deputy Ministers of Transport and Public Works, Yahya al-Sayani, and Electricity and Energy and Water, Adel Badr, along with Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, Engineer Nabil al-Haifi, Engineer Wadie Jihaf, and Engineer Ali Rajeh, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Engineer Ahmed al-Mutawakkil. The discussion centered on the role of the ministries in supporting charitable kitchens and bakeries to provide meals for poor and needy families in the Azal District, as well as monitoring the implementation of the Ramadan program.
During the meeting, the Deputy Ministers emphasized the importance of working within an organized and unified framework, adopting a team spirit in implementing the Ramadan charitable activities and projects. This would begin with field visits to identify the needs of beneficiary families and raising awareness about the significance of reviving and attending the Ramadan program.
They also highlighted the need for integrating roles and coordinating efforts between the local authority, executive offices, dignitaries, affluent individuals, benefactors, and community members. This coordination would aim to expand charitable works and enhance social solidarity, in line with the directives of Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
Al-Sayani and Badr stressed the importance of conducting field visits to assess the conditions of poor families and address their needs during Ramadan, a month where charitable efforts have amplified rewards. The meeting underscored the necessity of collaboration among various entities, sheikhs, and social dignitaries to listen to community concerns and address them effectively.
Emphasizing cultural activities and awareness at the neighborhood level, the meeting called for continued efforts to activate the Ramadan program. It also advocated for increased mobilization to confront external forces deemed as threats, specifically citing America and Israel, and highlighted the importance of raising awareness about the potential dangers posed by their regional movements.
