Sanaa: A young Syrian man was injured on Sunday by gunfire from the Israeli enemy army in the Wadi al-Raqqad area, west of Daraa province, southern Syria.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on its website that a group of Israeli enemy forces elements fired directly at the young man, injuring him in the thigh and his right arm. It mentioned that the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) provided first aid to the injured young man on the spot before transferring him to a hospital in the Daraa countryside.

The Observatory highlighted that these ongoing Israeli attacks on areas of southern Syria are repeated, amid the absence of any deterrent international action on one hand, and absolute silence from the current authorities in Syria on the other.
