Youth Deputy Minister Congratulates Yemeni Athletes for Asian Bronze Medals Success

Sanaa: Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Nabih Nasser, congratulated national judo team player Younes Mohammed and national camel racing team athlete Iman Salem on winning two bronze medals at the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.



According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister praised the honorable performance and strong competitive spirit demonstrated by both athletes, commending them as shining examples of ambitious Yemeni youth capable of achieving success and raising the national flag high in international arenas-despite the challenges facing Yemeni athletes under the ongoing aggression and blockade.



Nabih Nasser affirmed that this achievement reflects the true spirit of Yemeni determination and perseverance and highlights the talent and competitiveness of Yemeni youth in regional and international championships. He noted that the Ministry is increasingly focused on supporting and nurturing talented and creative athletes across all sports.



The Deputy Minister wished Younes Mohammed and Iman Salem continued success in their future competitions, encouraging all Yemeni athletes to persevere and continue their efforts to uphold Yemen’s honorable presence in regional and international sports arenas.
