Sana'a: The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized on Thursday a cultural evening marking the Prophet's birthday and bidding farewell to the Yemeni youth football team as it departs for Saudi Arabia to compete in the inaugural Gulf Championship in Abha, running from August 28 to September 9. Minister of Youth Dr. Mohammed al-Muwallad urged players to embody the values of honesty, discipline, and teamwork inspired by the Prophet's life, while sports officials praised the team's preparation and called the tournament a golden opportunity to showcase Yemeni talent.
According to Yemen News Agency, the evening featured poetry, chants, and artistic performances celebrating the Prophet's birth and Yemenis' deep attachment to his message. The celebration served as both a cultural and motivational event, highlighting the significance of the Prophet's teachings in guiding the youth and inspiring them to achieve excellence on and off the field.
