Al-dhale': Residents of Al-Dahira District in Damt, Al-Dhale' Governorate, organized an expanded meeting today to discuss mobilization efforts for the upcoming celebrations of the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi).
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting emphasized the spiritual and communal significance of the occasion, aligning with broader national efforts to honor the Prophet's legacy amid ongoing regional challenges. Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, Acting Governor of Al-Dhale', underscored the importance of reviving the Mawlid as an ideological milestone to draw inspiration from the values brought by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), including mercy, justice, and unity of the Ummah. He described the celebrations as a reflection of Yemen's unwavering devotion to the Prophet's teachings and a rejection of external threats to Islamic identity.
Speakers linked the event to national resilience, noting that such gatherings reinforce Yemen's stance against aggression and its support for Palestinian rights, echoing themes from similar events across the governorate.
