Sana'a: The General Directorate of Cultural and Social Activities at the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a cultural competition on Thursday for participants in the Pencak Silat Promotional Championship, currently being held at the Recreational Club in Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the competition witnessed fierce competition among the participating cultural teams, representing players from Al-Ahli Sana'a and Al-Shurta clubs, as well as the Al-Rifai, Al-Shawkani, and Al-Shabab Al-Wa'ed centers.
Al-Rifai Center team secured first place with the highest score of 35 points. Al-Ahli Sana'a came in second with 32.5 points, while Al-Shawkani and Al-Shabab Al-Wa'ed centers shared third place with 30 points each. Al-Shurta Club finished last with 20 points.
The competition was managed by a judging panel consisting of Riyad Al-Amisi, Ibrahim Al-Hamzi, and Hani Al-Muqatri, representative of the Youth and Children's Welfare Fund.
