Sa'ada: 112 surgeries were performed during the 75th free eye camp, organized by the Health Care Association for Affected Communities in Munabbih District, Sa'ada Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Nashwan Al-Attab, head of the association, stated that the camp, held at Munabbih Rural Hospital and funded by the General Authority for Zakat, included 99 cataract surgeries and 13 pterygium excisions.
He explained that the four-day camp, held in cooperation with the Sa'ada Republican Hospital Authority, aimed to alleviate the suffering of patients from impoverished families, providing medical services to 612 patients.
Dr. Al-Attab noted that the camp was part of efforts to promote social solidarity and provide assistance to the poorest and most vulnerable groups, praising the humanitarian role of the General Authority for Zakat and its support for the camp.
