Muscat: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research has condemned the recent shelling by Saudi enemy mercenaries targeting students of Mus'ab bin Umair School in the Sabr Al-Mawadim district of Taiz governorate. The attack occurred as the students were returning to their homes.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry issued a statement denouncing the attack, which resulted in the death of fifth-grade student Barouj Ayman Mohammed Abdullah and the injury of eighth-grade student Abdulrahman Ahmed Abdulkarim. The Ministry described this incident as part of a series of systematic crimes and aggressions targeting civilians and the educational process since the beginning of the aggression on Yemen.
The statement urged human rights and humanitarian organizations to take moral and humanitarian responsibility by condemning these crimes and pressing the United Nations, the Security Council, and other concerned organizations to protect civilians and educational facilities. It also criticized the international community's silence regarding these violations, which contravene international laws and reflect the moral and ethical collapse of the Saudi aggression and its mercenaries.
