Sana'a: A commemorative event was staged on Wednesday by the 26 September Hospital Authority in Bani Matar district of Sana'a province, to mark the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event highlighted the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life and translating love and respect for him into practical conduct. Speakers also called for broad participation in activities marking the occasion on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
According to Yemen News Agency, officials and religious figures emphasized the longstanding relationship between Yemenis and the Prophet, as well as the importance of following his teachings, values, and principles. The event featured poetry and chants, along with the honoring of medical, administrative, security, and sanitation staff.
Following the event, officials inspected several specialized departments at the hospital, including the dialysis center, infectious-disease isolation unit, and emergency maternity department. They were briefed on the services provided and the departments' needs.
