Abyan: Abyan Governor Saleh Al-Junaidi has issued a stern warning against falling for Saudi schemes targeting the youth of the governorate, cautioning that these plans are designed to recruit and send them to their deaths.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Junaidi commended the community leaders and national forces for their successful efforts to thwart such schemes. He highlighted the ongoing Saudi exploitation of the governorate's residents, which has been exacerbated by resource looting and the destruction of national capabilities in the occupied provinces over the past 12 years.
Al-Junaidi urged those who have been misled by these schemes to reevaluate their positions and return to their homeland. He noted that many Abyan residents who were recruited have faced expulsion and humiliation as their reward, rather than support or recognition.
Furthermore, Al-Junaidi praised the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces against Saudi military activities, emphasizing that these efforts have successfully countered Saudi advances against the Yemeni people. He clarified that the aim of these operations is to secure Yemen's legitimate rights and lift the blockade that has been imposed for 12 years, rather than target residents of the occupied provinces.
Al-Junaidi stressed that the Saudi enemy targets all Yemenis and has tightened the blockade on the entire Yemeni population without exception. He lauded the widespread popular support for the revolutionary leadership and armed forces in their struggle to end aggression, lift the blockade, and restore the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people.
