Acting Al-Dhale’ Governor Urges Residents to Reject Saudi Calls

Sanaa: Acting Governor of Al-Dhale': Abdullatif Al-Shaghadari called on Sunday for residents of the governorate in the occupied districts not to be drawn into calls by the Saudi enemy to serve as cannon fodder and human shields in its war.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shaghadari affirmed that Sana'a does not target the residents of Al-Dhale', but is engaged in an open aggression with Saudi forces, which he described as a common enemy of all Yemenis in the north and south. The people of Al-Dhale' have previously been targeted by Saudi airstrikes that resulted in numerous casualties under the pretext of resolving the issue of the so-called Southern Transitional Council.

Al-Shaghadari warned against the continued involvement of the people of Al-Dhale' in battles led by the Saudi-led aggression coalition, emphasizing that these conflicts do not serve any national cause but are instead part of a systematic plan to deplete the governorate's young manpower. He highlighted that thousands of young people from the governorate have been deceived and sent into deadly battles along the borders, where they are used as cannon fodder in futile wars, only to be abandoned by Saudi forces.

He elaborated that these developments are part of a carefully orchestrated Saudi-American-Israeli scheme aimed at completing the occupation of the southern governorates and depleting their human resources. This poses an existential threat to the interests of the aggression coalition in the medium and long term. The presence of free people from Al-Dhale' is seen as an obstacle to these ambitions, prompting efforts to exhaust them on unrelated fronts.

Al-Shaghadari stressed that it is time for every young man from Al-Dhale' to realize that their real enemy is not Sana'a or any other front into which they have been drawn, but rather the party that occupies their land, plunders their resources, violates their sovereignty, and promotes falsehoods among them. He highlighted the Yemeni Armed Forces' 'qualitative operations' against Saudi and mercenary mobilizations, which send a message that attempts to escalate against free areas will be met with direct deterrence aimed at eliminating the threat at its source.

He reiterated the firm popular and national stance of 'blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation,' asserting that any hostile moves will be met with targeted strikes compelling the enemy to submit to the will of the Yemeni people.
